Jared Woodley, known to his peers, athletes and clients as "JWood," is a former Division I athlete with a strong passion for sports and fitness. After being drafted to start his professional playing career, an injury sidelined him, which shifted his focus more to the world of coaching and fitness training. JWood's desire is to inspire all whom he comes in contact with to live a healthier lifestyle. He stresses that being fit and healthy is not only a physical challenge, but a mental challenge as well. His philosophy to fitness incorporates conquering both mental and physical challenges within the training world. Combining his sports and strength training with his Master’s degree in Psychology, he understands the psyche behind pushing one's self mentally and physically. That in itself allows him to craft training programs to effectively produce the desired results of his clients.
JWood has professionally been in the fitness and sport industry for over 10 years, starting his sport consultation company in 2007. The goal was to coach and train athletes as they transitioned through their academic (high school and collegiate) and eventual professional sports careers. After obtaining his CrossFit certification, he transitioned to training clients of all fitness levels and not just athletes. In 2018 he received his certification in Biomechanics and Human Movement from DBC Miami He currently provides services specializing in personal training (in-person and online), boot camps, and sports specific training.
